Description

Each t-shirt Laeti-Berlin is a unique product because I silk-screened it in our collective print salon in Berlin.

This impression is serigraphied on one side with two different pattern, about the “Berlin memory“, on a vintage washed charcoal t-shirt.
The 1st pattern, “Cuvrystr.“, is printed in green (gradation spring- & olive-green) and the 2nd pattern, “Anhalter Bahnhof” is printed in silver.

  • Cuvrystr.“: I drew this urban sketch with my calligraphic pen and with dry pastels on the 10th of March 2010 directly at the location in Berlin-Kreuzberg. This illustration represents the graffiti of the street artist Blu located in the street Cuvrystraße. Close to the river Spree and the crossroads of Schlesische Str. I was sitting in front of the big wall of graffitis, on the other side of this nomansland. I needed one hour for this illustration.
A typical place, made in Berlin, where these are dying out. But thanks to this urban sketch you have a souvenir of this graffiti (recovered in black by Blu and his friends in dec. 2014 as a sign of protestation)
This illustration is also on my blog “Traversée d’Encres” with urban sketches (“Through The Inks”).
  • Anhalter Bahnhof“: I drew this urban sketch with my calligraphic pen, wash and charcoal on the 19th of November 2009 directly at the location in Berlin-Kreuzberg. This illustration represents a ruin of an important railway stations of Berlin, severely damaged in 2nd World War. I was sitting in a beautiful bed of daisies at Askanischer Platz. In the right, in the background of the urban sketch, we can see the roof of the Tempodrom. Between the two buildings there are a lot of contrasts, like often in Berlin.
I needed one hour for this illustration.

Label “FAIR WEAR Foundation”: pro-active social responsibility. So this t-shirt is too fair trade !

You can wash your t-shirt up to 30 °C (86 °F) and you can tumble dry.
Don’t worry! The print will stay perfect after the wash, because I fixed it with a special emulsion and I pressed it to impregnate.
