Postcard Panorama Berlin-Klunkerkranich

The Postcard Panorama Berlin Klunkerkranich represents a view from Neukölln of the Berlin’s skyline in the roof terrace of Klunkerkranich.

I drew this urban sketch on the 2nd of September 2014 directly at the location in Berlin-Neukölln.

As a technique I applied wash drawing. And artistic tools I used for this illustration are:

• my sketch book (Watercolour Paper- fine grain, Format 31 x 22 cm -12,20″ x 8,66″-, 280 g/m2 -140 lb-)
• my calligraphic pen (“Pilot Parallel Pen”- 2.4 mm) and 1 fineliner
• 2 paint brushes (fine and medium)
• water
• chalk

I was sitting on the roof terrace of the bar-restaurant “Klunkerkranich“, in the samebuilding of the shopping center “Neukölln Arkaden”. It was beautiful weather at the end of summer and warm like an Indian Summer.
Behind me played in live a nice music band from Istambul. It was during the “BERLiSTAMBUL #25 Underground Festival”.
I needed one hour and an half … the sunset is so beautiful there!
