Poster Bierpinsel
The poster Bierpinsel represents the monument in the road “Schloßstr.”, near the underground station “U-Bhf Schloßstraße” .
I’m really happy to have finally been able to design this magnificent vintage building, called in Berlin the “Bierpinsel” (Beer brush)! 
I drew this urban sketch on the 1st of November 2023 directly at the location in the district Steglitz of Berlin: map. We are in the south-west of Berlin, outside the city-centre. I was sitting in the road “Schloßstr.
The Bierpinsel is the nickname of a 47-meter-high building built in 1976. The building is noted for its futuristic architecture and as “Brutalism”, with a “pop art” style too. 
The building has been listed as a protected structure since January 2017 … and it should reopen in 2024!
Tools: fineliner (0.05) + wash (blau ink with water) + watercolor paper block
