Poster Funkturm, Messe ICC Berlin

The Poster Funkturm Messe ICC represents the “Berliner Funkturm” (on the left) with the building of the “Berlin ICC” (on the right).
On 24th of october 2021, I drew directly at the location in the district Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf: Map.
Finally I sketched these monuments with the colors of autumn. The Poster Funkturm Messe ICC suggests the “GOLDENoktober“ in Berlin!  

Tools: fineliners (0.05 & 0.1 & 1.0) +watercolor Winsor & Newton + dry pastels Rembrandt + wash (black ink with water) + chalk + sketchbook boesner (25 x 25 cm)

– This Eiffel tower of Berlin or Berlin Radio Tower was put into operation in 1926 for the 3rd Great German Radio Exhibition in Berlin and is thus 43 years older than the Berlin TV Tower (Fernsehturm) on Alexanderplatz.

– The Internationales Congress Centrum Berlin (ICC Berlin), is one of the largest conference centres in the world. It is used for conventions, theatrical productions and concerts. In April 2014 it was closed in order to remove asbestos contamination, and remains closed as of 2020. Now it’s called the International Center for Contemporary Culture or ICCC.Berlin.
